Self Portrait Process Post

10/27/23 This assignment is a lot more difficult than the artist copy assignment. For the artist copy, we had to recreate the image, but we had an exact reference photo that showed us exactly how and where to put the mark. For this assignment, I have to figure where to go light, and where to go dark, but also what direction and how thick the line should be. I'm really struggling in shading this properly because I'm making it too dark, but I can't make thinner lines without it looking too blocky. I need to fix the streakiness of my self portrait and get the shadows of the shirt and neck proper while also starting my face.
