Project 4 Progress Post

So far, I have painted out solid blobs of the background of my painting. I am aiming to make a wintery painting and incorporate aspects of Christmas by painting lights and ornaments on the tree in the background. The painting is going pretty well so far as I have been able to include more muted colors which was my personal goal. I think it will be a lot harder to paint the figure in arbitrary colors, so I haven't started that part yet. I hope I'll be able to finish it on time!
