This drawing was done on the last day with the 40 minute session. Due to the time, I was able to use more detail to create this piece. I tried to focus more on shading parts of the face and making sure I didn't make the body too dark so that it wouldn't blend in with the background. I think improved a lot compared to my first day which was nice to see from the first gesture drawing to this.

This drawing was done on the third day. I tried using conte crayons so that I could have more of range of shading and because the conte crayon was smoother to draw with and make lighter lines with. I also liked experimenting with the conte compared to charcoal pencils we started with because I got to try a new medium.

This drawing was done on the second day of our figure drawing classes. I like the roundness of the drawing, but I think my searching lines are too similar all around. Most of the lines are vertical and straight and I think I need more variety and randomness in the lines.

Overall, I had a lot of fun in the figure drawing classes and I learned a lot about using searching lines and figure composition. I liked using mediums like charcoal and conte which I don't usually use and I liked drawing so big scale too.
