Art 4 Summer Assignment Progress: July

By the end of July, I had finished my "head" project. In this painting I wanted to depict the feeling of drowning while others just stare and laugh rather than help you when you need it. I wanted to portray the harsh realities of the world as people put you down even more instead of helping you up. I started with painting the background. Then, I drew a human figure that is drowning and drew tentacles that is dragging the figure deeper down. I also began to brainstorm for the "heart" piece which I was really excited to create because I would be able to paint something I am passionate about.
